22nd at Darlington
#10 Valvoline Pontiac driver Johnny Benson will start 22nd
when the green flag
drops on the Nascar Winston Cup Series' 400-mile race in
Darlington, S.C. on
Sunday.
"We were pretty good through one and two but then lost a lot
of time in three
and four," Benson said.
Benson's 22nd qualifying spot was about where he finished on
the practice sheet Friday morning.
"But we thought we would qualify better but on Sunday we
have 400-miles to get to the front," he said.
Benson and his Valvoline teammates will practice for two
45-minute sessions
Saturday morning. Sunday's race begins at 1 p.m.
